What kind of tips do you accept?

 

Just because you lost money investing in a stock does not necessarily mean you got caught up in some well-planned stock swindle. But if you received an unsolicited email, or you signed up for a pennystock newsletter that promotes stocks for a fee - you will have to forward us the email they sent to you.

We're also looking for information on individuals who've been charged with securities fraud - either in the US or Canada. Often we will report on those charges for our readers.

Civil suits against individuals or companies by investors is another tip worth reporting, providing the lawsuit is related to information an investor relied upon before investiing only to find that what they were told may not have been true.

Will you keep my name out of it?

Absolutely! All tips we receive are confidential. We never reveal our sources.
